Fluid services

Regular maintenance and servicing of all fluid systems in your car will prolong the life of these systems. By following the recommended services the fluid systems of your car will continue to operate correctly for many years to come.

Radiator and coolant

The radiator does the job of keeping the engine from overheating and needs to be kept in good condition. All modern cars use an additive that is an anti-freeze solution that stops the water in the system from freezing in cold temperatures. The radiator and cooling system will need to be flushed out regularly.

Brake Fluid

The brake system is vital for the safety of the driver and its occupants. The fluid levels need to be maintained in the system and flushed regularly to remove any grit or other contaminants from the system. Power steering

The power steering system contains fluid that needs to be kept topped off, flushed and replaced on a regular basis. If this system leaks you will have trouble steering your car.

Oil and Filter

The oil is what lubricates the moving parts in the engine. It stops a lot of wear on the engine and needs to be replaced regularly every time the vehicle has a scheduled maintenance service or as recommended by the manufacturer. The oil filter also needs to be changed regularly as it collects any contaminants that get into the oil and stops them from getting into the engine.

Transmission

Whether you vehicle has a manual or automatic transmission it may contain a fluid that needs to be changed or at least checked regularly. It will also contain a filter that needs to be checked periodically.
